Extra Safety Features
Safety Flow Sensor Switch
This is an automatic switch that ensures the heater only operates
when there's sufficient water flow. Unlike conventional heaters, Joven's
functional Flow Sensor Switch automatically cuts off the usage of the
water heater when the water outlet is jammed. This avoids any sudden
burst of hot water that will lead to the danger of scalding.
Safety Thermostat
This Safety Thermostat device is fitted to avoid overheating and to
prevent scalding.
Temperature Control Knob
The variable Electronic Power Control with Numeric Dial allows you to select your ideal shower temperature,
thereby saving energy and cost. Also the dual LED Indicator to indicate the main electrical supply and heater
are switched on.
Flow Control and Filter (FCF) Valve
Designed to control the water volume in high and low water pressure areas and has a built in filter cup to
trapped dirt particles entering the heater tank and clogging the handshower spray. Ensuring lower maintenance
to your shower unit.
1/4 Soft-Turn Numeric Valve
Turning the shower on and off is made much easier with our Joven unique 1/4 Soft-Turn Numeric Valve.
The numeric indicator (1 to 8) provides an easy setting for the correct water volume and shower temperature
everytime.
Built-in Electronic Earth Leakage System (EELS)
For your added safety, Joven's EC802 offers an extra security feature
with EELS to prevent electrocution. It automatically cuts off electricity
supply to the water heater even if there is a current leakage from
as low as 10mA. The Test and Reset buttons are conveniently placed
to respond immediately to the touch of your fingertip. It also has
a built-in Surge Protector to prevent the heater from undue damage
caused by current surge.

Joven water heaters are manufactured under stringent quality control
conditions using high quality materials and are individually tested
to complly with the safety standareds set by SIRIM (Malaysia) and
PSB (Singapore).
